WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog. We like to say that WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.
The core software is built by a community of volunteers (open source), and there are thousands of plugins and themes available to transform your site into almost anything you can imagine. Over 25 million people have chosen WordPress to power the place on the web they call “home”.
In the e-Learning space, we promote Wordpress as a tool to allow Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to publish their ongoing knowledge and experience to your audience. This can be either closed or open. Open means that Google and other search engines get to read it too, and consequently bring other people to your website. Closed means only your people get to read it. And there can be a mixture of both.
We can open up the comments feature so that your staff can reply and communicate about the topics published. And of course you have moderation control in case any debate gets a little "heated".
